This policy explains how LADS Recovery ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you contact us or use this website. We are the data controller for the information you provide.
What we collect
- Contact & enquiry details — your name, phone number, email address and the details of your recovery request when you submit our contact form, call us, or message us.
- Location information — if you choose to tap "Share my location", we collect your device's approximate location so we can find you. This is only ever collected when you actively choose to share it.
- Vehicle & job details — the pick-up and destination postcodes and vehicle information you give us so we can quote and carry out the work.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, provide a quote and carry out recovery, transport or roadside work.
- To contact you about your job and, where needed, to arrange payment.
- To keep proper records of the work we've done.
Our lawful bases are to take steps at your request before entering a contract and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it where necessary to deliver the service — for example with a payment provider, or where we are required to by law. Our website uses the free postcodes.io and OpenStreetMap lookups to turn a location into a nearest postcode/road; only coordinates are sent to those services, not your personal details.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records only as long as needed for the work and our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, contact us at info@ladsrecovery.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
